Monkey Business

B629C0C9-7243-4139-A9DD-5D663F4C6409Since I had the day off from school, I walked into town to visit my friend, Zebounissa.  She’d been telling me of a monkey who comes to visit her almost daily.  However, the monkey had never visited when I was around.  But today, it did.  Zebounissa keeps a stash of bananas just for the monkey.  She also gives him a slice of bread.

Why wouldn’t he return again and again?

  1. Adorable! Great shot! And such a good question you raise! If someone was feeding me routinely, I’d go back!

How far is the walk to town? Are you around any other returning, or young, PC volunteers? What do you do on Saturday night? More, please . . .!!

  2. Hi, Pat, It’s Jeanie O’Farrell here. I just got onto your blog. I love your “rumination!” Keep up the writing. I look forward to it. That is a beautiful monkey. Be careful, though. I thought I was friends with a monkey in Ghana and one day he turned on my and bit me 3 times. Yikes! It was over before I knew what was happening. Then the owner said, “Oh, he does that sometimes.” He was beautiful and we left him bananas, mangos and oranges.
Your blogs are not in any particular order. This was is dated “1 day ago” which would be April 1st or 2nd. Is that accurate? What are you teaching right now?
